The tour starts at the river town of Sierpe.

We will first tour the mangrove forest of the Rio Sierpe basin, where we can spot crocodiles, macaws, sloths and snakes.

We will then cross to the open sea in front of Drake Bay, where we can spot dolphins and seabirds hunting.

Caño Island will be our main destination: here we will get in the water, have our lunch and touch land for a visit at the ranger station to learn about the island’s indigenous history.

We will then make our way back to Sierpe thorugh the Islas Violines bird sanctuary via Guarumal, a magical and remote assembly of rocks that host hundreds of different seabirds.
